WWT National Wetland Centre Wales

Set in a 450 acre mosaic of lakes, pool and lagoons created on the scenic Burry Inlet, Llanelli Wetland Centre is home to many hundreds of wild and resident species.

There are over 600 of some of the world’s most spectacular ducks, geese, swans and flamingos, many so tame they feed from the hand.

Arrive By bus

The Llanelli 'Dial-a-Ride' bus service operates between the Llanelli bus station, railway station and the centre. The service is available during the daytime on Mondays to Saturdays but you will need to pre-book.

Arrive By Rail

The nearest station is in Llanelli, approximately two miles away. It's just a 35 - 40 minute walk or a 15 minute cycle and Llanelli's brilliant and beautiful coastal path is a scenic and eco-friendly way to reach us.
