South African Shelduck Tadorna Cana Video page

Appearance:
Male - The male South African Shelduck has a grey head and upper neck, a buff lower neck and breast, a chestnut body, strikingly marked black, white and green wings, and a black beak.
Female - The female is similar except for a white face with a dark-brown head and neck.

Notes: - The South African Shelduck or Cape Shelduck like other Shelducks nest in old animal burrows and cavities.
